What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Dowles Brook for its tranquil atmosphere and beautiful, unspoiled natural scenery, making it a favorite spot for peaceful walks. While the natural beauty is a major draw, some have noted longer wait times for service at nearby facilities, though the overall experience remains highly positive for its serene environment and suitability for families and dog walkers.
"We often visit the Wyre Forest Nature Reserve, as each area has it's own unique flavpur, with something different to offer. The walk along Dowles Brook, from Drystone Carpark, past the old mills, is actually our favourite, out of all of them. You can walk along the old, disused railway track, that runs parallel to the brook, the views are absolutely stunning, but we prefer to stroll along the lower ath, that's adjacent to the brook. As this area is unspoilt, it adds to the natural beauty, with the atmosphere being more tranquil too."
