What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Duck Bay Marina is celebrated for its stunning Loch Lomond views and enjoyable dining experience, with many praising the food quality and friendly staff. However, some visitors have found the prices for soft drinks to be high, and hotel breakfast experiences have been mixed. Despite minor drawbacks, the picturesque location and overall positive atmosphere make it a highly recommended spot.
"Been here a few times (superb every time) stunning location and surroundings, had a nice cold pint of Coke Zero sat on the loch side in the glorious sunshine. Duck bay is immaculately clean and well presented.
The view was amazing and the drinks were amazing too, the staff are always friendly and helpful and nothing ever too much for them, the food looks and smells AMAZING and I will get round to eating there. Was a bit disappointed to be honest with the price of a Coke Zero, £3.80 a pint, I had a pint of beer in a pub up in fort William for the same price! I expect food and alcoholic beverages to be pricey but not a sugar free soft drink especially when one is driving. However, that won’t put me off returning but may put others off."

"Was really impressed with my experience here! The place itself is in a lovely location over looking the loch, and the decor inside is gorgeous. The food was also of a really good standard for a good price. Staff were also very helpful and service was very quick."

"The atmosphere was lovely, it had a very open feel to it thanks to the floor to ceiling windows showing off spectacular views of Loch Lomand and Ben Lomand... The employees are all very polite and do their best to help. Our drinks came very quickly. They were kind enough when they seated us to put us at a table that there was a wee L shaped wall behind the table (great for coralling a VERY BUSY 3 year old! 😉 The food was DELICIOUS!!! My son's partner looks forward to coming up and going to Duck Bay!!! I always thought it was US she was looking forward to seeing!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂 My WHOLE family highly recommends Duck Bay!!!! Enjoy!!!!"
