Reviews Summary
East Park is widely praised as a surprisingly lovely and well-maintained green space in the heart of Southampton. Visitors appreciate its beautiful flora, including the wisteria walkway and wildflowers, as well as its historical significance, particularly the Titanic Engineers' Memorial. It's considered safe, accessible, and a great spot for relaxation and recreation, though some note occasional litter issues.
"A surprisingly lovely park in the heart of the city. It’s very well maintained. Beautiful wisteria walkway was blooming and the wild flowers around the park were beautiful. Lots of opportunities to hire a e-scooter to get around but as a person with varying walking abilities, the park is flat and had plenty of seating to rest so I resisted hiring a scooter. Police patrol throughout the evening but the kids still managed to sneak some fairy liquid into the fountain."

"Pretty park to walk through in the city centre. Safe and accessible easily."

"Beautiful park in the cultural area of Southampton and next to the hotel we were staying Leonardo Hotel. It was also behind the shopping main street and next to Primark and Sports Direct. The park itself has beautiful mature trees and plants and the green areas are well managed the only shame is the amount of litter everywhere despite there being rubbish bins everywhere. It also has coffee shops and restaurants adjacent to the park. Definitely worth a visit and appears to be a place for locals to enjoy."
