Anything to do in Waltham Cross?
I'll be visiting London this Spring, and I'm going to Waltham Cross (long story). Is there anything interesting to see or do there? Is it a safe area?

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for Waltham Cross are mixed, with some finding the town centre has deteriorated and lacks safety, while others appreciate the monument itself and local amenities. The Eleanor Cross is generally seen as a pretty and cool monument, offering a clean street with a brilliant view for some visitors.
"Waltham cross is an absolute dive. When my partner was growing up near that area, it was beautiful when I moved down there, it was okay, but you could see it deteriorating then (some 20 years ago now).
Now it's horrible, dirty, you don't feel safe, the town (for what it was) has died a slow death. It either needs a huge regeneration or it just needs to be out out of its misery and build much needed social housing there.
It's awful though."
