"Love this place. What a little gem. I'd never realised this place was so close and had such great woodland walking available.

Car park can be very full but usually a spot to park. Can be pretty busy.

Pretty flat so those with mobility issues will be great here. There is a narrow barrier to get through but maybe a wheelchair could get in?

Lovely spot. Full of dog walkers"

"I live nearby so my family and I visit the woods a lot. This small woodland area is well used by dog walkers and people just out to stretch their legs. There are several different paths around and through the woods with several different ways in and out. Lots of wildlife makes its home here and its a good place to see birds such as woodpeckers, nuthatch and Jays. The paths are pretty good but it can become quite muddy after heavy rain."

"Exploring Stanney Woods in Ellesmere Port with my lively cockapoo was an absolute delight! The serene woodland offered an unparalleled setting for an invigorating dog walk. The well-maintained trails allowed my furry companion to roam freely, her tail wagging with boundless excitement.

The highlight was the plethora of squirrels that added a playful twist to our stroll. My cockapoo's eyes sparkled with curiosity as she eagerly spotted these agile critters darting among the trees. Their antics provided endless entertainment and an extra dose of excitement for my pup.

Stanney Woods strikes the perfect balance between a tranquil escape and an energetic adventure for both dogs and their owners. This outing undeniably created cherished memories, leaving us eager to return for more tail-wagging escapades amidst the beauty of nature."
