Natural History Museum advice
Hi Redditors! Looking for some advice on visiting the Natural History Museum. I've got family visiting this weekend who want to go and see the new whale and whale exhibit at the NHM on Saturday. I haven't been (outside a late) for years but have vague memories of large queues…

What are the best entrances & times to go to the Natural History Museum and British Museum to avoid the queues please?
As the title says. I really hate queueing and monster crowds of people so all your tips and tricks are truly welcome. NB! - Budget is limited so I probably can't book exhibitions as a strategy to avoid queueing though :( Thanks very much.

Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Eton College Natural History Museum as a hidden gem with well-organized, educational exhibits covering biology and explorers' adventures, making it great for all ages. However, its extremely limited Sunday afternoon opening hours and lack of accessibility for buggies or wheelchairs are significant drawbacks.
"Hidden gem in Eton!
The museum is not big but full of exhibits. The display is well organised. Contents have covered different biology knowledge and explorers’ adventure. It is a great place for kids and adults to learn!
Sadly it is only open on Sunday afternoon but if you are going to Windsor Castle on Sunday (like I do), you can come before joining the service in St. George Chapel which is not open for visit on Sundays."
