Every fall, my family makes the short drive from NWA to the Exeter Corn Maze and it’s hands-down one of our favorite Ozarks traditions πŸŽƒ From haunted barns to pumpkin patches, it’s the perfect reminder of why I love calling this corner of Arkansas home. If you’re looking for spooky fall fun close to home, this is it! πŸ‚ #NWA #OzarksLiving #NWAFallFun

Best walking routes around?

Hello everyone! I was wondering which route you would consider as scenic that’s still close to the city centre? The walk to the Quay is pretty nice from the centre but we want to go somewhere else to discover new areas. I’d appreciate any help! Many thanks :)

Reviews Summary

Ludwell Valley Park is praised as a beautiful, natural escape on Exeter's doorstep, ideal for dog walking and enjoying the countryside. Visitors appreciate the rolling hills, wildlife, and peaceful atmosphere, though some note the terrain can be boggy and steep, and cattle presence requires caution.

"It doesn't have a lot to offer than countryside and is in Exeter. A a bit of nature on Exeters doorstep. Good to get away from the hustle and bustle."

Neil G

"Great place for dog walking. Lovely views and flora and fauna. Benches for quick breaks. There are often cows so be ready to put dogs on leads. I've never seen sheep there which is good. Dog waste bins available and plenty of parking on the roads."

Becci Gidley

"It's a lovely park, with access both from the Rifford Road side and from Pynes Hill. These photos are from the Rifford Rd/Chestnut avenue side. The fields are enclosed by hedges and cow gates, and the hills are often rather steep, so not suitable for wheelchairs nor probably for people that tire quickly.
But definitely good for flying a kite.
Less recommended in the wet season as the ground can become boggy, particularly where the cows have been.
In the right season there are blackberries along the edges.
We saw a couple of robins and three peacock butterflies today."
