"It was hard to know how to rate this. It was fascinating to visit the house, and discover its incredible history. Spent a couple of hours exploring the site and learning about it, which was really good and for this reason I have rated it 5 stars. However, sadly the house has been abandoned for many years and it is now in a state of disrepair. Many of the rooms are blocked off for safety and it is really upsetting so sad this once wonderful building crumble."

"Being given the opportunity to help film here for a very good friend of mind and having the chance to walk around this extremely historic building was amazing the outside has so much character, when you walk inside wow wow wow. This place has a future as what ever it is they decide to do. But the history is here is breathtaking and you would not believe it when you see the location. Blow away by this place and having the opportunity to see it on such an important day!"
