What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Firestone Copse is widely praised for its beautiful woodland walks, abundant wildlife like red squirrels, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for nature lovers and families. However, some visitors note issues with dog waste on paths and the cleanliness of the river.
"We saw red squirrels here so recommended for a walk. Also decent picnic area and parking are available. Lovely place for a walk on a summers day and pretty easy to find in a car. There were several young families there having picnics so again recommended for that"
Rob Page
"Brilliant place for us and our dog's . The walk is about a 2 mile round trip, with lots of paths off into the woods. The river is through the woods down the hill but it was a bit dirty. There's carpark for about 20 cars and it's free. There is also a coffee van (Drew,s Brew,s) prices are ok. He also has dog biscuits and water free. Would recommend"
Kevin Rockall
"Birdsong, natural beauty, red squirrels, flowing water- what more would you want? Oh, I know - a mobile coffee van to replace the sadly missed "Drew's Brews"!"
