"Absolutely lovely little museum! Rich in history and culture. My best friend and I visited today (two teenagers) and we found it so perfect. Loved finding our way through the rooms and discovering the interactive elements!"

"Absolute gem of a museum - it's not very big, but packs lots in and is completely free to visit (donations appreciated!). The museum follows the history of Faversham from Roman times through to modern day. Lots of hands on exhibits and activities for children - very family friendly. Volunteers are eager to interact and answer questions, and really are a credit to the museum. Our favourite exhibit was the working telephone exchange where we had an interesting chat with a volunteer who used to work in one. My son was fascinated with the workings of the machinery and the volunteer was very patient in explaining everything and allowing him to try out all the phones. Would allow 1-2 hours for your visit - you could see it all in an hour but two hours will give you more time to interact/do activities. Very clean, free toilets on site."
