"Not the most thrilling boat ride but not particularly unpleasant either in the 50 minute tour we had."

Tom Samphire

"A well maintained waterway with many interesting attractions a facilities which meet the requirement of continuous cruisers, liveaboard's with local and remote, permanent home moorings and the growing leisure, day boat or weekend users."

Richard Cook

"Nice walk along side the canal. We decided to do the walk to Saxilby (about 6 miles). Picturesque for the most part and a few possible places to stop for a drink along the way, such as Burton Water and a couple of pubs. Beware the last mile of the walk requires you to cross the busy road and walk alongside it into Saxilby. We got the train back to Lincoln, which was quick and easy"
