"Had an amazing day here today on 6th April 2025. Picked a great day to visit as it's the warmest day of the year so far. From 1899 to 1991 this site was Gedling Colliery. In 2014 work began to transform this landscape into Gedling Country Park. I came here a few years back, and it's amazing how much it's matured in that time. It's hard to believe that this is just a short distance from the city of Nottingham. There's some absolutely stunning views here. Highly recommend"
