I'm coming to Belfast Thursday to Sunday. I want to visit the Giants Causeway but feel like spending a full day there when I only have 2 full days in the city seems like a waste. What's the best way to get to see the Causeway wine maximising my time on this trip. Thanks.

Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Giant's Causeway as a breathtaking natural wonder, highlighting its unique geological formations and stunning coastal scenery. Many recommend guided tours for their engaging guides and convenient transport, though some wish for more time to explore. The site's blend of natural beauty and rich mythology makes it a memorable experience for most.

"Highly recommend the Giant’s Causeway tour! I was lucky to have sunny weather, which made the views even more stunning. Every stop—whether it was the castle, the Causeway, or the bridge—was absolutely beautiful. I truly fell in love with the magical beauty of the water; it felt so alive and refreshing.

The tour was well worth the money. Our driver was fun and engaging, sharing interesting stories and making sure everyone returned safely to the bus. Although it was a half-day tour, I wish I had more time to soak in the scenery. A truly memorable experience!"

"My wife and I travelled from Australia to visit Ireland prior to heading over to Scotland.
One of our destinations was the Giants Causeway.
We paid for a walking tour and we were guided by a local named Keith. (Remember his name) from the first step to the last he kept us laughing and kept us engaged with his awesome knowledge of plant life (that is a tree and that is a different tree). It was an absolute pleasure to be guided by Keith and I only wish there were more guides like him about. I might even have to convince him to move to my home town of Northern Queensland (Townsville).
This is a must see attraction, there is a small fee to enter (car parking) you have a choice of walk alone with no guide, a self guide (walk around with a device like a phone that has recordings along the way or be guided by amazing locals like Keith."

"Dave was our tour guide for the 8-hour bus adventure of the Giants Causeway and Game of Thrones tour on Friday March 14 2025. We came all the way from Australia for this and it was a magical day for my daughters and myself - the sights were incredibly breathtaking, and we had access and entry to historical castles and so many interesting places to see and learn about along the way. Dave was fun and the info he shared was interesting and informative. Highly, highly recommend - you will not regret doing this!"
