"Hidden gem!
Played here on 7th July in a four ball visiting from Hertfordshire, and had a superb links experience.
Course was immaculate, particularly the greens.
The short par 4 first eases you into the round, but the relative simplicity is offset by nerves teeing off from a tiny tee box right in front of the clubhouse! This is followed by a challenging but brilliant front 9, including a stretch (5, 6, 7 and 8) along the North Sea coastline, which happened to mostly be into the teeth of a strong wind for us.
Back 9 is just as fun and includes two woodland-style holes for some momentary respite on a windy day, before an excellent 3-hole finish.
Practice facilities: large putting green (as immaculate as the course) and some nets to loosen up.
Pro shop: extremely welcoming, and well-stocked. Particularly useful as one of our group left his golf shoes 120 miles away back home.
Clubhouse: perfect to sit back and assess the scorecard damage. Highly recommend the homemade sausage roll.
In all, we had a great time and certainly hope to return!"
