What Travellers Say

"My family have just been to pay our respects to Dad who we sadly lost 2 years ago today. While we're really pleased to see the name in the book and the artwork is quite brilliant,we then find that our personalised vase has been got rid of. I was really upset it's as bad as having a grave desicrated how dare anyone do that!!! One of the vases was my Mum's personal vase. We lost her 11 1/2 years ago and have been using it to put memorial flowers in ever since. My Dad's we bought and personalised only last year. I feel like I've been slapped in the face and I'm furious!!! Thanks so much for upsetting us all Grantham crematorium on a quite difficult day hope you're all proud of yourselves for causing so much upset. The very least you could have done is give the vases back!!!!!"

"I've been visiting Grantham Crem for over 43 years, to bring flowers and see my sister's teddy bear in the book of rememberance. I've never seen the flowers shelves as your enter into the book of remembrance so empty and neglected. Vases with flowers in and no water. This never happened whilst Barbara worked for the crematorium. Its the first time ever we've not been able to use our personalised vase which is heartbreaking on top of such a difficult time as it is for our family. The remembrance area has always had such a warm feeling despite its sadness and now oozes hostility.
Consideration and respect really doesn't cost anything."
