While some visitors find the indoor market cold and damp, the availability of various stalls and an on-site cafe make it a functional spot for bargain hunting and casual shopping.
"The market is open on Wednesday and Saturday's only. There is also a car boot sale on Friday and has various stalls selling things from bric a brac to videos,DVD, books, cakes, clothing, phones, etc. And there's also a cafe where you can get hot food and a cup of tea or coffee. Outside in a small carpark adjacent to the market sometimes there's an wholesale butcher selling fresh meats."

"We (husband and I) wanted to sell some items. I phoned the organiser who was really vague. His timings did not make sense. I got my husband to phone. This time the given timings were different and the organiser could not remember the postcode.
We were worried about committing so decided to go a take a look and then, if it seemed okay, having a stall another week. We are so glad we did this.
The inside was cold, damp, dreary and unwelcoming. The roof was leaking so there were large puddles on the floor. There were quite a few stalls but very few people looking to buy. We bought some bin bags but found little else of interest. We certainly will not be returning either to buy or ad vendors.
