"Steel fabricated hides for viewing the local wildlife which includes Seals and Birds. Best take a pair of Binoculars as there's quite a distance between the two."

"Good for outdoor wild exploring. Seeing all the seals. Seen 11 pairs of avocets in April 2025. Free car park."
Clément GONNET
"It is a lovely green and open area in the industrialised town. Before going I did not expect to enjoy the view of seals sunbathing on the shore of the creek, nor beautiful open views of the creek. Not many people walking around so you can just enjoy the time in the nature.
There us a lovely RSPB reservoir with the walk around and very friendly guide at the front.
We were very lucky to see the seals but best to take monocular or binoculars, as quite far from the accesible area."
