Parking at GreenPark
How bad is it? I’m potentially looking at an office move to GreenPark and I’ve heard parking is awful. I can potentially get the train to Reading but bus options from the station don’t look swift either! Any work arounds?
Parking at Reading
Looking to solicit some suggestions for parking options please! I've investigated the official parking but to be honest I can't be bothered with the hassle of creating an account just to buy some matchday parking. There are four of us travelling so the Park and Ride isn't very…
🚶♀️ Leisurely Strolls
Ideal for a relaxing walk or a light jog amidst green surroundings.
🌬️ Wind Turbine Views
Don't miss the impressive Ecotricity wind generator on site.

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Green Park is lauded for its beautiful landscape, serene Long Water, and impressive eco-friendly architecture, including a wind turbine. It's a pleasant spot for walks and runs. However, some visitors have had negative experiences related to photography restrictions and perceived unwelcoming staff attitudes, leading to a mixed overall impression despite the scenic beauty.
"Beautiful location, no doubt. Though it seems beauty alone doesn’t guarantee a warm welcome. I had the unique experience of being treated like a potential threat — all because I took a photo with a DSLR, without prior written permission. I was swiftly reminded (very clearly) that this had absolutely nothing to do with how I look — you know, being a middle-aged, Asian-looking man with a camera in hand.
For context, I was there as a guest of one of the companies in the building — fully invited, fully legitimate. But proving that didn’t earn me an apology. Instead, I received a lecture from what I can only assume were their famously non-arrogant, non-racist, and perfectly reasonable supervisors. An unforgettable masterclass in how not to welcome a guest.
I spent the entire day there. Didn’t spot a single smile from the staff. Maybe I wasn’t looking hard enough — or maybe that’s just how things are run around there.
Interestingly, a few people I know (who just happen to be white) told me they’ve taken photos in the same spot with zero issues. Pure coincidence, I’m sure.
At lunchtime, I asked the buffet staff about the prepaid lunch options. The gentleman behind the counter responded with such charm and grace that I lost my appetite entirely. I decided to pass on lunch — a tough call, but apparently easier than digesting the attitude.
Days later, I still feel a bit uneasy remembering the whole experience. Not complaining — just putting it out there, if only to help myself process the strangely sour aftertaste of a day that was supposed to be a professional visit.
Just to be clear — the two stars are purely for the architecture and the beautiful landscape. Nothing else."

"Green Park Business Park is an oasis of a place situated behind the Madejski stadium just by M4 Junction 11. It’s a lovely place to work, take a walk or go for a run. It’s the home of The Green Park 10k which I have run a couple times and it is a good course. These days I’m more into walking around the park following some food on the Reading Gateway business park. This is also the home to the huge wind generator that dominates the skyline. For lazy strolls it’s recommended."

"Very well planned and well built business park with plenty of open space, bus service, few shops and well sign posted. It gives a nice feeling of breath of fresh environment while you work."
