"I am a regular visitor here at Greenham common and have come to appreciate the beauty of the Commons, the birdlife and the well-managed nature. It is perfect for walkers, with or without a dog, and there are many different footpaths to chose from. Note that for a few months in the summer one must stick to the main footpaths so as not to disturb the many rare ground-nesting birds here. After a brisk walk, it is worth rewarding yourself with a coffee and cake at the café on the ground floor of the control tower."
