"The Guildhall is a beautiful old building, now used as a theatre and events venue. It has a lovely cafe on the ground floor, perfect for a coffee and a cake or a spot of lunch. The theatre hosts all sorts of productions, such as plays, musical acts, tribute bands and pantomimes.
There are also two rooms that can be hired for weddings, celebrations & meetings. See my pictures below. The ballroom is stunning. We used the smaller room (the Newton room) recently for a memorial service and it was perfect. Very friendly, helpfull staff. I highly recommend the Guildhall as a venue."

"A nice old building to go and watch a play. The only complaint I'd give, if you have arthritis the seating is a bit crampt. There are other seating which don't have this problem. I'd still go there again to watch another show."
