What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Hadleigh Country Park offers beautiful landscapes and family-friendly activities, with walking trails and a lake for swimming being popular. However, the mountain bike trails, once a highlight, are reportedly in need of significant maintenance, and parking fees are considered high by many visitors.
"Very good place to walk the dogs, many walks, lakes and beautiful landscape. There is a bar, but you can sit only outside"
federico giovanninetti
"The MTB trails are looking very tired and unkept. They need some love. Many features are closed or unusable. Trails are too narrow and very overgrown. The dual slalom is almost just a single track now. One of the wooden down hill features has fallen apart. The leap of faith is now closed completely. Many of the trail direction signs are completely missing. The place is a shadow of it's former self and needs some love.
Parking is expensive, but I would happily pay that price if the trails were in better condition"
Paul T
"I use the lake Saturday mornings with Hadleigh Plungers, which is always run well, and part of the Actio swim app.
Only downside is I find parking expensive."
