"A park created in the late 1920's. Extensive replanting in the last few years to attract wildlife and provide a more attractive landscape than the former grass desert. Home to Margate football club, public swimming pool and sports centre. A very popular park amongst the dog walking fraternity but there are very few unwelcome deposits. The park is very clean and litter is generally not an issue. Although classed as a park it is more of the common land variety as it's open 24/7/365."
