"Seek out this cemetery and be awed at the extent of the crosses. Reminiscent of the cemeteries of the great wars in Northern France these are the reinterred sailors and Marines moved from the older cemetery in the grounds of Haslar. The Turkish area stands proud and a recalls a unique time of sadness. Parking is on the main road along one side of the cemetery. It will take the good part of an hour to to this area justice. Trees add cover for the rainy days."
