Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Penistone Hill Country Park for its stunning natural beauty, panoramic views, and the unique Wild Uplands sculpture trail. It's a great spot for walks and picnics, though amenities are limited. Some find the terrain challenging after rain.
"Plenty of parking available
No amenities here
Plenty of paths throughout the area to explore and plenty of wildlife spotted
To get to the trig point, Park in the CP to the south - took one of many easy paths up to the high ground of Penistone Hill. The pillar sits away from the bulk of the old quarry activity with fine, far-reaching views. It's a great spot. It is damaged - there is some cracking and a missing chunk - and has a replacement cap, but it is still mostly intact. A great, easy-access trig"
