A beautiful local hike for us & one I’ve returned to many a time, no matter the weather, the time of day or the mood🏞️ . Frodsham & Helsby Hill for me are both that place I go to if I need to clear my head or have a breather from the stressors of life. Me & James have spent evenings up either of the hills, watching the sunset & having snacks & I can’t think of a more perfect couples date than that...

"TL;DR 10/10 - perfect for dog walks or to come sit and relax with peace, quiet and breathtaking views.

Absolutely stunning spot to go watch the sunset, sunrise, or to just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet, whilst having the most beautiful view.
Fairly easy to park (if coming by car) and the walk is extremely easy - even with our 2yo we were able to do it without any real hassle!
However, it is worth noting that it's definitely not child safe when it comes to being at the peak, as it's a rocky cliff with a massive drop straight down so, if you plan on taking your little ones up here, be sure to come prepared with that in mind!"

Patrik Strnad

"Fairly short and easy walk uphill from the parking next to the Harmers wood. Stunning views of Helsby town and the Mersey river estuary."

Abuzar Modi

"Spend so much time up the hill over the years.

Middle walk is a brilliant flat trail with some lovely climbs up to the top.
Good parking options at the Quarry or by Harmers woods."
