"Visiting Helensburgh for a few days I had seen Hermitage Park on the map but we stumbled on it, quite by accident, as we were exploring the town during our first evening walk.
Even though it was the evening there were lots of people around: lots of dog walkers, young families and teenagers.
We were in there for ages but probably missed quite a lot. We did see the children’s play area, the War Memorial and so many beautiful rhododendrons!"

"Park is fairly compact and is thenformer grounds of the now demolished Hermitage House. It is beautifully laid out and contains some interesting Heritage facts which are signposted throughout. The war memorial within the park is particularly worth a visit."
