It's a highly recommended activity for families and golf enthusiasts alike, offering a unique way to experience the 'Home of Golf' without the pressure of a full round. "A fantastic, fun and challenging day out for the family! The 9 and 18 hole courses are changed weekly so there's always a new challenge and more fun for you to enjoy. You can book online or pay at the kiosk. It's often very busy so allow yourself an hour or so to get round the 18 holes. It's dog friendly too, just ask at the kiosk to get the water dog bowl. Note though that group play is strictly controlled; max 4 people per group.
There's parking at the Himalayas as well as parking further along the beach front. Parking is free.
My wife and I try to get there as often as we can, just love it!
If there's a major competition on e.g The Open then the putting will typically be closed for the duration of the contest."

"Also known as The Himalayas Putting Green. This course is so much fun for all ages. There is a 9-hole (for younger kids) and a 18-hole option. Pre-book your time if possible. Bring your putter and ball or they can loan them to you. It’s a relaxing vibe so very enjoyable!"

"The Putting Club is great way to experience St. Andrews without going all-in to one of their full 18-hole courses. We were doing a road trip around Scotland and didn't have our clubs and in an effort to not disgrace one of their world-renowned courses with my golf game, we did this instead. It was quite literally MINI golf with rolling hills instead of obstacles and was really enjoyable. It was also cheaper than any mini golf would be in the United States. Absolutely would do this again."
