The 3D relief of the full crest of HMS Ocelot, made for me by @cncmilitaryemblems , I've added the frame, but it can be done as a circular frame or with no frame at all.

Reviews Summary

Visitors find the HMS Ocelot tour highly engaging and a fascinating glimpse into Cold War submarine life. The guided experience is praised for its informative nature and the authentic atmosphere. However, potential visitors should be aware of the physical demands, including climbing through hatches and navigating tight spaces, which may not be suitable for everyone.

"An interesting, scheduled tour that requires a certain level of physical agility. Firstly be sure to book your tour as you enter the site. There are only so many slots available and entry is not permitted without. Also be aware that navigating the submarine hatches, on the tour, might not be easy for everyone."

Richard Sharp

"Very interesting submarine from the 1960s. You have to book a free timeslot to go aboard which I would highly recommend, though a word of warming, you will have to climb through the hatches as you pass from section to section. There is a useful guide at the entrance you can use to make sure you are comfortable going through. Definitely worth it to experience life on a sneaky spy submarine!"

Ben Hames

"This was one of my main reasons to visit the Historic Dockyard, the opportunity to see a cold war era submarine and actually to go inside.

Once you've paid for your ticket into the Dockyard, the next staff members you'll see will book you onto the submarine guided tour. This is a must to be allowed on.

The tours have about 20 people on at a time.

The guided tours run about every 30 minutes from memory and last for about 30 mins.

Any body with clostraphobia may want to think about going inside as it can be quiet close in all sections of the submarine as you can appreciate your packed into certain areas like sardines (no fault of the ship....it's a submarine).

Those also who may be a bit bigger than average and those with mobility problems may struggle to get down the narrow steps and also through the many portholes you have to negate between to the various areas.

The ships guide is well informed with the history of the ship and gives you a glimpse as to what it would have been like to work and live in these conditions for months on end under the seas.

Absolutely fantastic this tour was."
