What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Hollingworth Lake's beautiful scenery and accessible walking paths, making it a favorite for dog owners and families. While parking can be challenging on busy days and the lake level can fluctuate, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many praising the food options and tranquil atmosphere.
"What's not to love about Hollingworth? We come here often with the dog as its virtually flat path cafe at the start and middle, followed by Fish and Chips at the end. It's even got a pub on the route. It's running low at the moment never seen it so low, however the rains will come and fill it will. I take photos most times but I thought I would put these up to show how low it is for anyone who hasn't or cant for some reason"

"When we arrived, it was busy and the car parks were full but we managed to find a spot near the pub. Parking charge there was double that though of the neighbouring car park at the Water Activity Centre.
The walk itself was an easy-level circular walk around the lake, suitable for wheels. There were some sandy beach-type areas, and toilets/cafe halfway around. After the walk, we had some delicious fish & chips from Lakeside cafe."
