The displays are well described through information panels. We went on the day when the museum was free as part of the Heritage Open Day, but it would also have been well worth paying for the visit."

"For those who have no knowledge of what a cavalry regiment was or does now this museum has an atmospheric walk through the ages. Located in Penninsular Barracks of the Romsey Road the staff are knowledgeable and helpful for your visit. The gardens and architecture are most interesting, with walkways off and historical placks secreted. There are also other regimental museums inside the barracks so we'll worth a day out."
