"Beautiful island with nice and gentle walks around it. You can also climb quite easily to a little park on the island and the views are worth the time and effort. We went in the bluebells season and the whole island was carpeted in blue flowers.. there are also remains of an old church and cemetery from the time when the island was inhabited. And surprise! There is a lovely sandy patch on the beach and the waters are gentle for letting the kids play or paddleboard. Though the waters are freezing cold! There is a ferry from the pretty Luss village and also from
Balmaha that can take you to the island. The ride is in catamarans and lasts about 20 mins from Luss."
