It's a delightful, family-friendly outing that offers a genuine taste of railway heritage. While the rides are short, the overall experience is highly recommended for its warmth and affordability.

"Lovely outing on the train up the track, and stopping at the next station for coffee, cake and games. Me, my partner, and our 2 Yr old daughter had a great time. I'd highly recommend - you can't get much for £2 per person these days!!"

Kat Fox

"Really friendly people running a really charming narrow gauge railway. Great to see Jurassic in steam, the beautifully restored Ashover carriage and their other rolling stock too. 👍"

Michael Chapman

"Definitely one for the enthusiasts and situated on a camping site (Skegness Water Leisure Park). This single line railway is run by volunteers and has been well maintained. The older gentlemen running the site were very helpful and great with families. Letting my kids take part, setting onto the engine and having a go blowing the train whistle. The train ride cost £5 for a family of 4 and was around 15-20mins going past the airfield next to it. All in all it was a pleasant experience to have with anyone with young kids."
