Here’s a 360 of the coastal path between Prinsted and Thorney Island in Chichester Harbour. It was a beautiful walk on a very cold February day (in 2023) fuelled by homemade soup. * * * #thorneyisland #chichesterharbour #sussexwildlife #winterwalks #birding #birdwatching #britishbirds #wildlifewonders #wildlife_perfection #wildlifewalk #naturelovers #naturebrilliance #nature_perfection #naturejo...

Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the stunning natural beauty of Chichester Harbour, particularly its abundant wildlife, including seals and diverse birdlife. The coastal paths offer picturesque walks, and harbor tours are highly recommended for an immersive experience. While parking can be challenging, the overall atmosphere is peaceful and rejuvenating.

"An extensive protected network of channels and mudbanks with the South Downs to the North, this is a place to wander in all seasons. A sailer's paradise too with challenges for even the most experienced sailer. Power is the choice of mariners negotiating their way to the marinas around this body of water.
Dog walkers have good paths around the shores for walks of any length. So too families can plan for long or short walks with waypoints for lunch of refreshment and icecreams. Toilets are scarce but parking can be found near the major marinas or close to the villages inland. Wildlife abounds though mostly avian."

"Absolutely beautiful. We are looking to relocate as close as we can get near here. Fantastic facilities, clean beach - stunning houses on the beach. Sandy most of the beach, then pebbles. Lovely dog walk - (please clean-up after your pet). Great parking (seasonal closing - 6pm exit). Lovely cafe & very clean rest rooms. Owned privately & very well kept. Love it!"

"Chichester Harbour is stunning place to visit. We did the Harbour tour to see the seals and we weren't disappointed. The captain of our boat was very knowledgeable about the area. In total the tour was a about 1.5hrs. If the weather is not great then make sure to take waterproof gear and wrap up warm as it can get chilly on water! Lots to see. On a good day you can see Spinnaker tower with binoculars. Loads of wading birds when tide is low. Along with the seals of course"
