What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Joss Bay is widely praised as a beautiful and spacious sandy beach, ideal for families and relaxation. Visitors appreciate the amenities like toilets and parking, and the scenic chalk cliffs. Some minor drawbacks include occasional seaweed and rocks in the water, and seagulls can be a nuisance.
"Joss Bay Beach is as lovely and spacious as always! Plenty of room to relax, with toilets and a car park conveniently available. Perfect spot for a family vacation. There’s a bit of seaweed and some stones in the water, so be careful as they can be sharp, especially for kids. On a sunny day, it’s absolutely perfect! Plus, you can enjoy ice cream, bars, and delicious fish and chips nearby."

"Ignore any bad review. Joss Bay beach is the real deal. The nicest beach in the whole Thanet Stretch. Safe. Clean. Amenities. Rock pooling. Shade (if you need it). Peace. Views.
An absolute must for any visitor or beach lover."

"Worth the visit for sure. Not busy at all and sea is usually calm and suitable for kids. Lifeguard available, toilets and parking as well. Some see weeds but not enough to ruin the experience. Sand bank was huge and mostly clean. This beach specifically has a gelly fish warning. Luckily all good for us, but is worth informing people. The only thing missing is a bar/cafe nearby. They have only a shop renting chairs and umbrellas. Careful with seaguls, they are quite annoying ans invasive"
