Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Army Flying Museum for its extensive collection of aircraft and its engaging presentation of British Army aviation history. Many highlight the value of the annual pass, the friendly staff, and the excellent cafe with airfield views. While some find the cafe prices a bit high, the overall experience is highly recommended for aviation and history enthusiasts.

"Wow! Stopped here with the view to killing an hour as it "doesn't look that big". Two and a half hours later we had to leave to get to our next destination but have already decided to come back, and more than once.
Photos don't do it justice and there is so much fitted into the space. Fantastic cafe, basic menu but all hot food prepared to order and delivered to your table. Eat inside or out it's up to you but great views across the airfield Plus a large picnic area with viewing adjacent to the car park."

Keith

"If you like aviation history then you'll love this place.
The aircraft and helicopters are well presented, some in dioramas, which is nice to see. There is a lot of information here if you want to read the history of AAC flying operations. There are several audio/visual presentations to watch around the place.
The whole site is wheelchair accessible with some excellent accessible toilets, well done AAC. There's a nice cafe offering a selection of hot and cold food or snacks.
The cost for the day was OK and parking is free. All in all a good couple of hours spent here."

Paul Hunt

"Overall, it's a pretty cool place to visit with plenty to see. Kids will enjoy the touch screens, jigsaws, lego, outdoor playground, and a small soft play area inside. The cafe and outdoor park are accessible without a museum ticket. It offers a variety of hot/cold food & drinks, although on the pricey side."
