"Historically Kersal Moor has saw human activity from Neolithic, Roman and right through to modern times. Offering views from it's South West point of the Pennines, Derbyshire Hills and Irwell Valley, it's eight hectares of trees, gorse, heathers, moss land and paths are also now a designated local nature reserve popular for family recreation. Notably famous as the discovery site of the now probably extinct "Manchester Moth" (Euclemensia Woodiella) specimens of which can be viewed in the Manchester Museum and Natural History Museum, London."

Henry Staal

"Here's a great place for your dog to have some fun. Local nature reserve and very pretty."
