"Very beautiful but sadly you can only see from the outside, would love to know more about it. It's a nice place to sit and watch the waves and spaces for a couple of cars, road is single track though so if you can't drive, don't attempt it!
Plenty of room to visit to take photos in a motorhome
Holiday cottages are available via the landmark trust"

"Lovely wee spot for a picnic and taking in the amazing views and sounds of the sea. The lighthouse itself is a beauty to behold. There is a wall all around so you can't go inside or right up to it unless you are staying in the accommodation there.
Small amount of spaces for parking but it's never overly busy so works out ok. There is a pier to walk and a little alcove for some beach combing if you fancy. Also grassy area to enjoy a picnic if you have a blanket with you."

"We stayed at the lighthouse of Saint John’s Point, in County Down, Ireland.
It was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life.
For me, it was something deeply desired: watching the sunrise, observing the tides’ ebb and flow, the full moon…
Simply being out there, savoring the silence.
And the caretakers’ hospitality was Truly exquisite.
We also loved exploring the surrounding coastal landscape.
We went on long walks and peaceful rides along the beach
What struck us most was the chance to feel — even just for a moment — the silence and isolation of lighthouse life.
It must have been an extraordinarily hard life.
In that sense, we were deeply moved by Andrew Carnegie’s initiative in the early 19th century, when he funded libraries in many lighthouses across the English-speaking world.
They offered cultural contact, a window to the outside world.
A truly unforgettable experience, in every way"
