"Delamont Country Park is a council managed Park just a few minutes drive from Downpatrick and just off the shores of Strangford Lough.
There is a cost of 5 pounds per car which I thought was very reasonable. There are a number of amenities and different paths to walk. I personally loved the mix of different environments: beach; grassland; forest, it really has a lot to offer! The paths are well maintained and a walk here can be as long or as quick as you need it to be.
For children there is a play park and even a train which does a loop through part of the park.
There is also a cafe which sells some baked goods, ice cream and coffees.
Overall I enjoyed my visit and would definitely advise others to come and check it out 😊"

"Lovely park with several trails and views over Strangford lough. Good playground and clean toilets. Costs £5 per car which is fine if you're spending a few hours there, but not so good if you just want short walk. The standing stone is very impressive, lovely views from there."
