What Travellers Say

"An excellent space for a dog walk, with lots of shade and water for these unrelentingly hot days! There's a café just around the corner, for a nice cuppa after your walk.
Parking is limited, but there is free street parking in the housing surrounding the Marshes."

"It's amazing that we have lived in the area for many years but this is the first time I have visited this nature reserve. I walked to it from Town Quay in Newton Abbot. There is a tarmacadam pathway for a good length and a myriad footpaths through the marshes with little wooden bridges in certain places to cross streams. I walked in the height of summer when the paths were dry but I can imagine that you would need boots in the wet season. As usual inconsiderate cyclists can be a nuisance."

"This footpath was recommended by a dog owner for a good walk. It was OK for a change of scenery but I wouldn't rush back. Dog bins available. Parking in road available."
