"We had a great day at Knowsley. Actually got to see the animals much better than when we went to Chester zoo. I took my two grandaghters who are aged 21 months and 2 and a half and they loved it. We went to the sea lions show in the walk around part and that was great plus very informative. Rides are not overly priced. Highly recommend 👌"

"Very Enjoyable day out with the family. Drive through the safari takes about an hour although you can stop if you wish, you can also go round multiple times. There's a nice nature trail to do on foot. The falcon show and sea lion show are both really enjoyable. There are also a number of rides available aimed at smaller children."

The drive-through safari is the main highlight, where you can see lions (unfortunately there was only 3 in the entire lion area), rhinos, camels, and other animals roaming freely — a completely different experience from a traditional zoo. The mischievous baboons are always entertaining (just be prepared if you choose to drive through their section — they love playing with car parts! They do rip of the wipers!)
Beyond the safari drive, the walk-around safari area offers more animals, talks, a few animal shows and a small fairground for the kids, making it easy to spend the whole day here. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the park is well-maintained. The timings for the animal shows are indicated as you enter."
