"Phoned last year in regards a neighbour's tree that lives in council property to be checked, as too big and overhanging way into my garden (I own my property) so I called council
Initial assessment carried out but due to spring time and birds nesting, was left until winter
I've called today to seek an update as I've heard nothing for months on end. It took over half an hour on the automated system, and then 3 different departments transfered between, before I was told I was still in the wrong department, they will have to track who I spoke to, and couldn't offer an idea on the phone of who I should speak to.
Surely this isn't a unique issue. Sort it out Lancaster county council, it's a joke. I worry for elderly people or people with learning difficulties. What a joke"
