The locks have now been ruined by the addition of metal fencing to keep you to the allocated walkway, so you can now no longer sit on one of the bollards/cleats as you could only a month or two ago and appreciate the location. Suddenly not a friendly place to be! Shame on you MSC."

"Great destination for a walk or a bike ride. It is a pity that nothing is done to make the surrounding area a bit more touristic. And when a boat is coming a good way to explain the locks principle. A better maintenance of the lock is needed though"
