"Great iconic double act, in ulverston near bowness windimere"

"Laurel & Hardy statue outside Coronation Hall in Ulverston. The statue was designed and sculpted by Graham Ibbeson. The statue is a 10% larger than life bronze sculpture. It was unveiled by Liverpool's own Sir Ken Dodd OBE in April 2009. Great for a photo op, which i had to have, as did many others who were waiting to do the same. The museum to them is just around the corner from this."
James O'Hanlon
"I love this little statue. Always puts smile on my face. Stan laurel is a hero of mine and its nice to take photo with him and pretend for a minute or two that you are in a movie."
