What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Leas Bandstand as a beautiful historic landmark offering stunning sea views and a vibrant summer events program, particularly live music. While many enjoy the restored charm and lively atmosphere, some wish for more frequent performances outside of peak season.
"Perfect spot for a bandstand right next the Zigzag Path. You can sit and enjoy the views around of Folkestone Beach from the top. Many duck chairs there to be used. Wish if there's a bandstand performance so I could enjoy it more."
UK Photo Journey
"A historic landmark, dating back to the late 19th Century when Folkestone was at its super-chic height.
After falling into ruin and nearly being pulled down some years ago by an inept council, this landmark has since been restored. Once again you can hear the summer weekend brass bands I remember as a child in the 70s. It’s also a venue for other local music, and acts as a focal point for various summer events. A true local landmark."

"Beautiful place, the show was excellent, can't wait till next year"
