What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Lincoln Arboretum for its beauty, well-maintained grounds, and family-friendly features like the play area and maze. It's a lovely spot for strolls, picnics, and dog walking. Some note limited cafe hours and occasional issues with teenagers in the evenings.
"A very cute and beautiful park just up from the town, you can find free on street parking on st annes road. Toilets and cafe werent open but the kids park was open and had a good few things for children of all ages. Its clearly well kept, plenty of benches and areas to sit down, the ponds and wildlife areas were well maintained too. Generally a lovley spot for an afternoon stroll, taking the kids out, a dog walk or a different place to get outdoors."
Grace Pullen
"This is a nicely kept public park, open till 10 pm. There are some small areas of formal planting (rose garden is nice) but for the most part it is landscaping with a nice collection of trees, and some garden features (pond, maze, shelters). It is on a steep hill (this is Lincoln!) with some big flights of steps with no handrails, but there are step free routes around most of the park. Nice place for an evening wander or a sit down."
Andrew Jones
"Lovely park with lots of friendly people and dog walkers. Would avoid later in the evenings as there seems to be a lot of teenagers and young adults behaving inappropriately— drinking and drugs. Always one of my favourite parks in Lincoln though!"
