What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Lineover Wood for its beautiful woodland walks, stunning views over Cheltenham, and the delightful bluebell displays in spring. It's a popular spot for families who enjoy den building and for trail runners seeking varied terrain. Some find certain paths steep, and parking can be limited, so planning your visit is key.
"Beautiful differing difficulties of paths to take so something for anyone, some absolutely stunning views."
Keith Harris
"It was great to visit Lineover Wood today!
We stopped in on our way back from Oxfordshire and, as such, started our walk at the ‘wrong’ end (We had our children with us and had to park in a lay-by on a busy road and walk back on ourselves). It does seem that the trails are both planned from the London Road side.
Despite this, we had a very enjoyable family walk, we just must remember to enter from the ‘touristy’ side next time we take the kids!
Having said this, the side we entered had great access to the Cotswold Way!"
Gabrielle
"Brilliant for walks. Kids love it because they can build the dens. And of course close to The Dunkertons for adults for a nice cider and bite to eat 😉"
