"Always a good day out, especially for families, photographers, birdwatchers and those who enjoy nature. Despite being freezing cold and raining. Went on a (free) harewalk and watched Swan (and other waterbirds feeding). Excellent guides/volunteers who really know their stuff from local history, land management, conservation to the flora and fauna! Cafe and shop are nice and reasonably priced. Cafe of course has fantastic views and animal.spotting opportunities. Great that main hide is heated, seated and safe from the elements. We tried our hand at making seed bombs and experimented with how different bird beaks work to catch their prey. Good disability access and very child friendly."
