"Gorgeous lake, beautiful scenery and free parking found along the road near the Ty'n Cornel hotel. Swimming was great in the lake as there is access just opposite the hotel. Water was clear could see some little fish only slight downside is that there is a fair amount of seaweed in the water so I would recommend watershoes but its gorgeous and shouldn't be missed!"

"Coming from Minffordd, you can see this lake in the distance as you descend from the top of the hill. A picture postcard view with velvet green mountains on the left and the towering height of Cadair Idris on the right. A fantastic view and one you won't forget. Lovely lake and one of my favourites of anywhere."
