"Excellent walk, clearly marked and easy to navigate. Some hills to climb, but not too strenuous. Approx. 6.5 miles loop around the loch.
Towards the end of the walk you link onto a road which was quiet when we visited so we could keep the dogs off their leads but just be aware of traffic."

Emily

"We chose to drive past Glentrool Visitor Centre and continue to this car park. Lovely walk along Loch Trool but please note that on trail you can't get down to loch edge. Some parts down/uphill for those less mobile. Midges out to play today πŸ˜†. Just as you get out of car go over bridge and as you come to open grass area, as you start to reach end of it, take the path to the left and pooches can get in water there before starting their walk round the loch."
