"This appears to be the only place in Totnes where you can park with a motorhome.
Overnight parking and sleeping in your self contained motorhome is permitted, which is a good thing.
It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the town centre.
Next to the river, with some nice walks.
Public toilets in Steamer Quay car park and a nice riverside cafe nearby.
There is an information board dedicated to motorhome users !
The parking charges are complicated. The machine doesn't take card payments, so if you don't have £15 in coins for staying overnight you'll need to struggle with the online payment."

"Great place to park for the Round Robin tour with Dartmouth Boats. Looking around for car parks for a place to start the tour we found Totnes the best one, and this car park was £4 cheaper for the day than the one next to the river boat dock. (£10 all day at Steamer Quay and £6 all day in Longmarsh).
Only shame was you cannot pay by card. Luckily we always bring coinage on holiday to pay for car parks like this as we don't like paying by app"

"This is the only carpark that allows Motorhomes/campers to park day or night in Totnes. It’s cash only at machine, if you use app you pay an extra 10p admin fee. If your vehicle can fit in one parking bay, it’s £6 for day, but if you spread over 2 bays you have to pay for 2 bays. Luckily spaces at back let you overhangs towards bushes. Spoke with ticket warden and he says for day parking on App use car prices if you are in one bay. But Motorhome code if over 2 spaces (£12 day) and for night parking £15 and you can use two bays(length ways) anywhere in carpark until 9am"
